It avoids rewriting the runtime path. SaaS owns orders and customer workflows, while newAPI remains the runtime truth.
When is a newAPI user created?
Only after trial activation, first successful payment, or an explicit enable-API action in the portal.
Can V1 support email/password login later?
Yes. The schema and route placeholders already reserve space for credential-based signup.
